The GridPACK requirements are derived from the GridPACK Application Concept. They are divided into three levels, each of which addresses a different level of concern.

High-level Requirements
These requirements are of concern to stakeholders and relate to the overall capabilities of GridPACK.
Mid-level Requirements
These requirements are of concern to the users and relate to the detailed capabilities of GridPACK.
Low-level Requirements
These requirements are of concern to the developers and relate to the implementation of capabilities in GridPACK.

High-level Requirements

<xref name="R1000"/> GridPACK shall be provided as Fortran and C++ static and dynamic link libraries.

<xref name="R1100"/> GridPACK libraries shall support applications that run on desktop workstations and clustered computing systems.

<xref name="R1200"/> GridLAB-D shall support power system applications that require power flow solvers.

Mid-level Requirements

<xref name="R2000"/> Chen to do: need to address application-to-standard data model translation, methods for conditioning, solvability tests, etc.

Low-level Requirements

<xref name="R3000"/> Tuffner to do: need to address standard-to-solver data model translation, conditioning implementation, solution control, etc.
